Logistic Company is authorized to type C customs storage.
Art. 525 and following of Reg. (CEE) n. 2454/93

Goods coming from countries outside of the European Union are managed with economic and suspensive customs procedures (both duties and VAT taxation).

As long as the goods remain in storage, customs clearance operations are not required.
During the customs storage period commissioned works are allowed, such as handling and reconditioning, packaging and quality control. In the case that the goods are put up for sale only then will the duties and VAT taxes be paid in the country of destination.

Type C customs storage takes place inside Logistic Company’s property.
